Stables are often cleaned Whiteh warm water. When calcareous water is heated, minerals, including lime, manganese, iron and magnesium, settle on the heating element. By adding sodium EDTA, these minerals are bound and do not store on the heating element, which improves the lifespan.

Sodium EDTA is a solution of 40% Na4.EDTA. It is a transparent pale Yellowliquid.
