Prophyl S

Prophyl S is a biocide for professional use, belonging to the closed cicrus. It is a disinfectant with activity against bacteria, cryptosporidiosis, yeasts and moulds, mycobacteria and viruses. Registered only as disinfectant for equipment and stables (PT3).

Features:

Synergistic combination of a chlorinated phenolic compound (chlorocresol) and glycolic acid:

• Disinfecting properties. The lipophilic properties of chlorocresol combined with the keratolytic power of glycolic acid help Prophyl® S to eliminate all types of micro-organisms, while also being highly effective on micro-organisms protected by thick membranes (gram bacteria, fungi, mycobacteria, oocysts, ...) and remaining active even in the presence of organic matter.
• Properties of surfactants. Thanks to its wetting and emulsifying power, thanks to its stress-active agent, Prophyl® S is able to impregnate and retain organic matter, thus preventing the spread of micro-organisms. 
• The acidic pH optimises the disinfecting properties.

Composition: 4.9% glycolic acid, 17% chlorocresol

Application dosage: 

• Bactericidal and levuricidal effect: 1% - 60 minutes - 10 °C
• Fungicide and mycobactericide effect: 1.5% - 60 minutes - 10 °C
• Virucidal effect: 2% - 30 minutes - 10°C
• Effectiveness against Cryptosporidium parvum: 2% - 6 hours - 20°C
