Chick paper is a type of paper on which day-old chicks quickly find their first crumbs of feed. Since the chick paper is usually placed near the drinking system, the water is also quickly
Chick paper is a food-safe, absorbent paper that is rolled out on the litter in the barn before the day-old chicks are placed on it. The paper remains in place during the first days of life and serves as a temporary surface on which starter feed is provided.
