Selective trap for Asian Hornets

The Protecta selective trap has been specially designed to catch Asian hornets (Vespa velutina). The targeted attractant VESPATTRACT draws in Asian hornets, which are then efficiently trapped by the ingenious system. Non-target insects can escape through specific openings, thereby preserving biodiversity.

When to use:

The Protecta trap catches Asian hornets in both spring and autumn:

Spring: The trap catches queen bees. This helps to limit the formation of new colonies.
Autumn: The trap attracts worker bees, thereby weakening existing colonies.

Usage:

Before use, dilute the VESPATTRACT attractant in a ratio of 1 part attractant to 3 parts water (for example, 50 ml of attractant with 150 ml of water).

Fill the trap’s reservoir with the diluted solution. The attractants are released gradually, luring Asian hornets inside.
