Vitamin C powder for cattle, horses, pigs and poultry
Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, is an important additive in animal feed for cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, goats and poultry. It is supplied in powder form and can be administered orally via drinking water or mixed evenly into the feed.

Dosage: 100–250 g per 1,000 L of drinking water or 5–50 mg of vitamin C per kg of body weight
Additional information:
- Ascorbic acid must not be fed to animals undiluted or directly. Always dissolve it first and administer it via drinking water or mixed feed.
- Any excess vitamin C is excreted in the urine, which means the risk of poisoning is low.
- The operator must comply with European Regulation 183/2005.
