We wouldn't be Indufarm if we didn't regularly come up with innovations... After the third generation of rodenticides, there is no longer any doubt that rodenticides are lethal, but often they are not ingested in sufficient quantities, causing them to miss their target. That is why we are now adding hemp to a completely new product line, IF TOX.
Hemp as an irresistible flavouring
The advantages of the new formula of IF TOX rodenticides:
- Contains hulled oats: mice prefer these, as they are sweeter.
- No longer peelable, otherwise rats will peel this and eat the kernel without poison.
- Contains malt. This is germinated wheat, which increases the conversion of starch to sugars, making it even harder to resist.
- NEW: the addition of hemp
Why hemp for rodenticides?
- Appetite & behaviour: certain cannabinoids and terpenes from hemp influence the appetite and curiosity of rodents. This makes them consume bait faster and in greater quantities.
- Taste & smell: the seeds contain oils and substances that are highly attractive to rats and mice.
- Unique mode of action: cannabinoids are different from traditional attractants → this can help to break through resistant behaviour.
Why hemp works so well
Our IF TOX rodenticides contain natural hemp, an irresistible treat for mice and rats. Hemp is full of natural attractants such as fats, proteins, cannabinoids and terpenes, which increase the attractiveness of the bait. This causes rodents to consume the bait more quickly and in larger quantities.
The result: faster action, better control and greater certainty in your business. And all this with an ingredient that is natural and sustainable.
Why our IF TOX products are not hallucinogenic and therefore legal throughout Europe: industrial hemp (as used in TOX products) contains < 0.2% THC (psychoactive substance); therefore, there are no hallucinogenic effects. CBD (cannabidiol) is non-psychoactive and more prominent; this substance is known for its calming and anti-inflammatory effects.
