The water-soluble granules Maggots are a growth regulator for controlling fly larvae. They can be sprinkled directly onto manure or diluted with water and sprayed or sprayed. Maggots are suitable for use in a wide range of situations, mainly in dairy farms, poultry houses, rubbish dumps and waste containers.

The active substance, Cyromazine, interferes with the insect's chitin metabolism. This leads to delayed larval growth, interrupts the moulting process and prevents pupation. Treated larvae do not moult into the next stage, thereby interrupting the fly cycle.

Instructions for use:

Maggots can be applied by sprinkling dry or dissolving and applying by spraying or pouring. The application depends on the moisture content of the manure.

The product is applied by sprinkling it dry onto slatted floors with wet manure, such as pig and cattle manure. Sprinkle 250 grams evenly over 10 m².
Apply maggots by spraying and sprinkling dry manure such as litter, dry poultry manure, etc. Dilute 250 grams in 1 - 4 litres of water to spray over 10 m² or dilute 250 grams in 10 litres of water to distribute over 10 m² with a watering can.
The recommended treatment interval depends on management and housing systems and on the climate (temperature, humidity, etc.). It can vary from 2-3 weeks to several months. The general recommendation is to repeat the treatment after each manure removal (deep litter) or after cleaning the barn or when fly larvae are found.
Combine the use of maggots (larvicide) with an adult fly control product such as Alphi and Sojet to ensure total fly control.
