Penetrates and removes stubborn biofilm
Once activated, IF Hydrodiox remains present in the pipes as a dissolved gas. This makes a significant difference: the gas penetrates the fine channels of the biofilm, loosening it and simultaneously removing the bacteria present. This cleans your drinking water system from the inside out.
In addition, IF Hydrodiox prevents mineral deposits and removes water contaminants such as iron, manganese and sulphides. The water regains a neutral taste and odour, without phenolic compounds that cause abnormalities due to algae or rotting organic material.

How do you activate IF Hydrodiox?
- Pour the entire contents of the small bottle of IF Hydrodiox B (activator) into the IF Hydrodiox 3.5% A jerry can.
- Allow the mixture to stabilise for 4–6 hours.
- After activation, IF Hydrodiox A&B remains stable at ambient temperature (> 10°C) for 30 days.
The dosage
For drinking water disinfection (PT5 – continuous)
- 50 to 150 parts per million
- Higher dosage possible up to a maximum of 300 ppm
For pipe disinfection during vacancy (PT4 – periodic)
- Dosage: 2%
- Contact time: 2 hours
- Afterwards, thoroughly rinse the pipes.
