Softening salt, 25 kg

Salt pastilles are necessary for optimal operation of a water softener. The pastilles are much purer than the coarser salt, resulting in significant salt savings. The softening salt goes one step further than the classic pastilles:

• Vacuum-pressed pastilles (without glue)
• High purity. This salt complies with the European standard 973:2009 type A, which is the highest possible purity class. In other words: this salt is food quality and therefore perfectly suitable for softening drinking water: 99.8% NaCl.
• Also complies with EN16401:2013 quality, EN16370:2022 (salt for electrochemical production of chlorine by means of membrane cells, dry salt) and the Biocide Regulation (EU) number 528/2012.

This ensures the highest possible quality:

• No caking of the dissolved salt, no salt paste and no brine bridging.
• Lower salt consumption (dissolves less quickly than crystals/powder)
• We obtain our salt from one and the same supplier who processes the salt from one and the same salt mine. As a result, there is a constant & guaranteed quality and there is no risk of contamination in the salt.
